DeNami Product Spotlight BLOG HOP: Balloon Trio

DeNami Product Spotlight: Balloon Trio

I love stamps, but sometimes I have TOO many - I can't decide which ones to use! I love versatile stamps and this balloon trio is definitely one of them!  I chose to have the elephant hold them with his trunk to say Happy Birthday to a little guy.  Perfect for a young boy....or change up the colors and it's perfect for a girl.  I added crystal lacquer to the balloons so they look shiny.  I have THOUSANDS of Project Life cards so I used one to stamp the balloons and saying onto.  Maybe someday I will start using them for scrapbooks too!

DeNami JUNE Inspired by: Jennifer

June Inspired by.... Jennifer.
Her original card and post can be found on her blog.

Isn't Jennifer's card SUPER fun!? I was inspired by it by using the cute little giraffe stamp and the cloudy sky embossing folder.  I used the embossing folder to make a textured blue sky - nice and soft and perfect for a baby card.  I stamped the giraffe in black and colored in with copics.  I added a cute little congrats stamp too.  Tied a bit of twine around the edge and that was it.  Make sure you visit the DeNami Blog to see the other fun cards the design team made!

DeNami Product Spotlight: Congratulations Circle

DeNami Product Spotlight: Congratulations Circle

I stamped the congratulations circle in cherry pink impress ink. I stamped the hat from the graduation set into the center.  Colored in with copics. Patterned paper is from a big pack I picked up at Michaels last year. Sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh. I'm still trying to get the hang of sequins - I think they should be more spread out now that I look at this card... Oh Well!

DeNami Blog Hop: Bright Blossoms

You should be arriving here from Greta's Blog.  If not, start at the beginning of the hop by going to the DeNami Blog.

I used the whimsical wreath stamp as my "Bright Blossom" for the hop.  I always try to use a stamp someone else might not use, so we can showcase LOTS of DeNami stamps!   The summer flower leaves set was stamped in green and colored in with a copic marker. I added some big buttons to the center and twine, that's it. Easy!
Make sure you leave them both a comment, and one one every stop along the way. You have a chance to win!

DeNami Product Spotlight: Diploma

Product Spotlight: Diploma

The Diploma stamp is a great one to have on hand. I seem to get a graduation announcement every year. I paired it with the Congratulations stamp.   I kept my card fairly simple because I know most graduates just want the money that is inside.  I know that's an awful assumption!  I tied a bit of twine around the diploma.

DeNami MAY Inspired by: Tina M

May Inspired by.... Tina M.
You can see her original post and entire card by visiting her blog.

I kept my color scheme exactly like Tina's. Why mess with something that looks so good!  Black and White with a touch of grey.  I stamped the flower bloom across the white cardstock in black ink.  I colored the flower in with a grey marker and added some extra fine glitter to the center of the flowers. I used black and white gingham paper and twine to add more of the color combo to the card.  It's hard to see but I stamped the solid grass stamp in grey at the base of the flowers. The white cardstock layer was embossed using circle interlock folder.

DeNami May Blog Hop: Sky's the Limit!

Welcome to the May DeNami Blog Hop:  Sky's the Limit!
I'm first on the hop! If you get lost along the way you can always check the DeNami Blog for the list of participants.

As always, I feel the hardest part of making a card is choosing which stamps to use.  Sky's The Limit works for insects, balloons, birds, rainbows, clouds, hot air balloon, rockets, airplane, helicopter etc... I'm lucky enough to own all of those!  I narrowed it down to this pretty set of butterflies. Fancy Flutters is a cling set, all 5 of these stamps are included. I stamped them each on to cardstock vellum using versamark ink and white embossing powder.
I layered the butterflies onto some older basics grey 6x6 patterned paper,. and added some PPP sequins
Make sure you leave her a comment, and on every blog you hop to.  You have a chance to win a DeNami gift card.

My parents have been in town for almost 3 weeks, so I didn't think I was going to get a chance to participate, we've been busy!  They left this morning, so I squeezed this card in.

Mothers Day is in a few weeks, but it's always a busy week at my house.  My son and I both have birthdays the week of Mothers Day.  This card is for my mom, she likes pink!  I used the spring time mix sequins from Pretty Pink Posh for my shaker card.    The Mom sentiment stamp is from DeNami.

DeNami April Inspired By....Barb!

Barb made this gorgeous card. You can see the full post HERE.

So, I was challenged in many ways on this card, but I loved every second of it.  I normally don't "tilt" any of my paper, use vellum, tie twine around ribbon, etc. etc.  I love that this card helped me get out of my comfort zone.  It's still way more simple than Barb's original card, but I was inspired in many ways... which is the point.  I used 2 stamps from the whimsical garden set.  The 1st is easy to see, flower stamped onto the white tag.  The other is the dotted circle I stamped on the yellow paper.  You're the best was stamped & embossed in white onto the vellum.  I didn't like how the sentiment didn't show much, so I colored the back of the vellum with a pink copic.  Added some pretty pink posh sequins, twine, and ribbon.  So FUN!  I really wanted to add the doily, but it would have covered up the pretty patterned paper so I left it out.

DeNami April Blog Hop: Buttons and Bows

DeNami April Blog Hop: Buttons and Bows!
Two of my favorite things!
You should be arriving here from Rachel's Blog. If not, go to the DeNami Blog.

I was 100% Inspired by this card made by Lynn.  I stumbled across it on Pinterest and I couldn't imagine anything better to do with buttons and bows, so I totally CASED it!  Thanks Lynn for the gorgeous card!
I did my best to change it up a bit and make it my own, just barely.  I found a piece of patterned polka dot paper and embossed it using the Circle Interlock Embossing Folder.  I taped a piece of ribbon flat down the center. I strung buttons onto some twine using a dental floss threader - BEST WAY EVER!  Tied the floss in a knot on the back.  Tied the ribbon in a big bow and used ATG tape to stick it down.  Happy Birthday was stamped in Grey onto the cardstock base.  It was SO easy!

Your next stop on the hop is LINDA.  Make sure to leave her a sweet comment and one on every step along the way - you have a chance to win a DeNami Gift Certificate.

They are layered onto circles and foam taped up.    Pretty patterned paper made it quick and easy! Have fun making your Easter cards, you only have a few weeks to go!

Product Spotlight: Cross and Vines

DeNami Product Spotlight: Cross and Vines.

It is a 1 stamp card!!  I wanted the Cross and Vines stamp to really be the focal point of my card.  I bought the patterned paper 12 years ago - I just use it every now and then.  Cross was stamped using Versamark and embossed with gold ep.  I used gamma green glitter on the leaves. Simple and elegant.

It's so fun to see how the same stamp set can be used differently by different designers. Visit the DeNami blog for all of the other cards!  PLUS get 10% off of this set for one week only.
I used 3 out of the 4 stamps in The Cuddly Pals set.  I grew up with a mom that is SO not a fan of mice, I just couldn't seem to stamp the cute little guy on my card. Stamped in Black and colored in with copics.  I centered them in a grid pattern onto green patterned paper. A  flower button and PPP sequin in the center.  I layered a doily and a pink piece of "henna"embossed cardstock to the kraft cardstock.  I tied a bow and then adhered the green square. Easy as always! No saying needed, perfect for spring, baby, congrats, anything!

DeNami March Blog Hop: Fuzzy Friends

Welcome to the March DeNami Blog Hop: Fuzzy Friends.  You should be arriving here from Stacey's Blog. If not, start at the beginning of the hop by going to the DeNami Blog.

I have too many Fuzzy Friends! I had a hard time narrowing it down for this hop! I went with this adorable little giraffe. I stamped it twice onto white cardstock and colored with copics.  I foam taped them onto a pink circle that I stamped the medium dot circle onto. The polka dot base is a card I've had laying around for at least 7 years or so-- time to use it! Congratulations was stamped in Versafine Sepia ink on white cardstock.  I don't know anyone pregnant with twins - but this would be perfect for them!
Hope you enjoy the remainder of the hop.  Your next stop is to visit my friend Amy's Blog.  She is a major DeNami fan and I am sure she will have something cute and fuzzy for you to see!   Leave her a comment and on every blog you stop at, you have a chance to win a DeNami Gift Certificate!

DeNami Curtain Call: Love Letter Challenge

DeNami is teaming up with the Curtain Call for the Love Letter Challenge this week.
Play along if you get time, you have a chance to win a DeNami gift certificate.

I went classic red and white with this card. I wanted to use the pretty love flourish stamp. It fit perfectly inside of the whimsical oval frame.  I used a small hole punch to add holes around the frame to make it look more like a doily.  Added lots of red touches with twine, washi tape, and heart background. I also added glitter to the frame and inside of the heart.

DeNami Summer Garden Sneak Peek!

It's time for you to see the new Summer Garden stamps from DeNami!  There are lots of pretty new designs so make sure you visit Pattie and Lisa to see what they've created.

I didn't know exactly what to do with the pansy bouquet until I saw this pretty Scroll embossing folder.  It fits perfectly inside.  I embossed a purple and a white piece of cardstock and hand cut the white piece so I could stamp on it.  I added the hang in there sentiment under it and tied twine around the white paper before I adhered it to the purple cardstock.

I used another embossing folder on this card - the picket fence.   I stamped the small sunflower repeatedly across the white cardfront.  I used a black marker to extend the flower stems so they are varied sizes.  Sending you sunshine is a great sentiment to use -everyone could use some sunshine!

This is my favorite card, but I just couldn't photograph it!  I stamped an image from the Summer Flower Accents Set with Versamark ink onto the Vellum.  I embossed it with white powder and colored with copics on the backside of the vellum.  Wishing you a day filled with Happiness is a new sentiment, and I love it! Sequins, twine, and ribbon finish it off.
