DeNami Product Spotlight: Upright Thank You

Welcome to the LAST Product Spotlight --- for this year anyway!!
It's the super fun and unique upright THANK-YOU sentiment. Perfect to use on all of the Christmas Thank-You cards we all need to send out.   The stamp is 10% for this week only.

I cleaned out my craft stash this summer and passed most of my extra supplies and card kits along to stamping friends and cards for soldiers.  This was one card that I had already cut, it just needed some stamping.  I think the card was from the DeNami classes 3 or so years ago. Yes, I am a hoarder! It did work perfectly with this upright thank you stamp though... perfect fit!  I added some leaf stamping to coordinate with the background paper.  Added some black rhinestones and black ribbon. You must stop by the DeNami Blog and see how the other Design Team Ladies used this fun stamp.
Stamps: Upright Thank You,  Leaf from the Elegant Floral Set, Leaf from Whimsical Set.
Paper: Cream, Black,  Chandler Sampler Pack,
Ink: Black & Toffee
Misc: Black Rhinestones,  5/8 sheer black ribbon.

DeNami Gift Wrapping Blog Hop -December

Welcome to the DeNami  GIFT WRAPPING Blog Hop.
You should be arriving from Barbara's Blog.... if not, you can start at the beginning by visiting the DeNami Blog.

I cheated a bit, I wrapped my gift using some fun striped foil paper.  I figure the tag I made is busy enough, so a "boring" base would be okay.  I added ribbon and a jingle bell too.

Here is the close up of the tag.  Isn't the Penguin saying Merry Christmas just the cutest!!!   I made this tag last Christmas and never got around to using it.

Thanks for stopping by.....  The next stop on the hop is LINDA

CAS-ual Friday #29

CAS-ual Friday Challenge #29.  Such a fun and versatile sketch -- I couldn't wait to play along.  I have neglected this little fuzzy ball stamp from DeNami - so I grabbed it and made a playful Birthday card for a special little boy.  There are tons of little faces you can make with this one fuzzy ball.  I chose the Friendly Faces Set for this card.

CPS Sketch & Young Crafters Unite

I struggle with manly cards ---  I want to add glitter, ribbon, and rhinestones!!
This card was made using the CPS Sketch and the Masculine Theme for the Young Crafters Unite Challenge #3. I missed the cutoff for this challenge :-(
I picked up this SU set at a yard sale this summer.... it's perfect for my brother in law.
My card turned out exactly like the sketch, which normally doesn't happen. Nice and simple, perfect for my deer loving brother in law.

I added a bow, ribbon, and button and strung them all together.  Easy, perfect decoration for anywhere in your home.  I made a few extra of these... they will be perfect gift tags for presents or gift bags.

CAS-ual Fridays: Over the Edge CFC #27

CAS-ual Fridays challenge ends in 7 hours... I finally had a chance to whip something up for it this morning.  I don't normally have pieces hang off the edge of my cards, so this was a challenge!  I need a few more thanksgiving cards, so I grabbed 3 DeNami stamps and added some leaves to meet the hanging off requirement.  Today is Friday for us here in Vegas, my kids get a 4 day weekend.  November is full of lots of days off!
Stamps: Happy Thanksgiving, Wheat Stalk, Pumpkin.

Product Spotlight: Large Mitten

Don't you just love the DeNami Product Spotlights? Such a fun way to see multiple ways to use 1 stamp. Grab this large mitten now, it's 10% off for 1 week!  Make sure you visit the DeNami Blog and see the other creations made by the Design Team.

Since the mitten is large, I chose to use it to decorate a bag for Christmas.  I embossed the mitten using Versamark and white embossing powder, & added a few snowflakes for interest. I used my handy ATG tape to adhere the cotton balls onto the mittens, they are so fuzzy and soft in real life.  My 7 year old actually put the cotton on, she wanted it to be really puffy.  A simple string of bakers twine holds the mittens onto the bag.
Stamps: Large Mitten, Snowflakes, Holly, Dots
Ink: Versamark
Misc: White embossing powder, bakers twine, gift bag, tissue paper.

Product Spotlight: Cornucopia.  This stamp is 10% for 1 week!

I used the cornucopia as my focal point, and stamped a matching background using some smaller coordinating stamps.  Kind of a busy card for me, but I guess that's what I was feeling like that day!   I do enjoy combining different stamps and making unique patterns, I even had some fun coloring too!   In case this one is too crazy for you...  there are 2 cards below that I made this summer for the sneak peaks on the DeNami blog.  A bit more simple looking.  Thanks for stopping by, and make sure you visit the DeNami Blog for more inspiration using this cornucopia stamp!

DeNami FALL Bloghop

Welcome to the DeNami Fall Blog Hop. What a perfect way to start off the month!
You should be arriving from Tenia's Blog.  If not, you can start at the beginning of the hop.

DeNami has such a fun collection of Halloween, Thanksgiving, and General Fall stamps.  As usual, the hardest part for me is choosing what stamps to use.  I decided on the new Thanksgiving Chickies.   They make such a fun little fall scene.  I also love the sentiment, perfect for anytime of the year - Thankful for you. Are you shocked? Yep, I used my sewing machine.  I don't do it very often, now I remember why.  I always seem to have some sort of mishap!

Now it's time to visit SUZANNE she is the next one on the hop.

Stamps: Thanksgiving Chickies, Thankful for you, Wheat Stalks.
Cardstock: Kraft, Cream, Iridescent Gold, Chocolate.
Ink: Versafine Black and Versafine Sepia.
Misc: 5/8 Orange Grosgrain Ribbon, SU Border Punch, PTI Die, tombow markers, sewing machine.

DeNami Color Challenge #8

Color Challenge time at the DeNami Blog.
You have until Oct. 24th to participate. Use the colors in the swatch, along with 1 DeNami stamp. Link your creation up on the DeNami Blog and you will have a chance to win a $20 DeNami Gift Certificate!!

This color combo was fairly challenging for me.  I love making fall cards, so that helped a bit. I inked up about 2/3 of the polka dot background stamp and stamped on the lime cardstock.   4 little squares were a perfect match for this cute little Thanksgiving set.  Colored them real quick (had to get grey in there somehow!) added a bow... done. Perfect little card for anyone.

Supplies:
Stamps: Thanksgiving Chicks Stamp Set, Polka Dot Background
Cardstock: Cream, Lime, Chocolate,
Ink: Versafine Sepia
Misc. 3/8 Orange Ribbon, Scalloped Square Nesties.

CAS-ual Fridays 22 & Young Crafters Unite #2

CAS-ual Fridays: Feeling Loopy.  Such a fun challenge this week!  I love making these little loop ribbon frames, so I knew right away what I wanted to do for the challenge.  Can you believe I haven't used this new DeNami stamp yet?  SO cute -- Happy OWLidays. I guess it isn't quite October yet, still lots of time for Christmas Cards.

Young Crafters Unite - Challenge #2.  Envelope to Match.  I kept it pretty simple, I just stamped the image I used on the card without the saying.  My card is pretty bulky, so I didn't need to add more layers to the envelope.

In case you've missed it---- Paulina has a HUGE Giveaway going on until Oct. 9th.

Color Inspiration from CR84FN Color Challenge.

I used 3 different shades of orange + Brown for CAS-ual Fridays Challenge.

CAS-ual Fridays: Falling to Pieces

Casual Friday #19 -- Falling to Pieces.

CAS-ual Friday has a fun challenge this week. I love making fall cards, the colors just seem to be easy to work with.  I grabbed my new brushed pumpkin stamp and some scrap pieces of paper.  Added a sweet little sentiment and some ribbon.  The best part of CAS-ual Friday challenges.... The Clean And Simple Part.  I made this card in about 10 minutes!
